Mummies are a body of a human being or animal that has been preserved by removal of the internal organs, treatment with natron and resin, and wrapping in bandages. Many Kings such as King Tut have been mummified.
King Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. He is also known as King Tut. He was born 1342 BC in Ancient Egypt and later died in 1323 at the age of 18.
Who Gets Mummified? Pharaohs of Egypt were usually mummified and buried in tombs. However, the process was an expensive one, beyond the means of many. For religious reasons, some animals were also mummified. The sacred bulls from the early dynasties had a cemetery at Sakkara. Baboons, cats, birds, and crocodiles, which also had great religious significance, were sometimes mummified, especially in the later dynasties.
How Are People Mummified? 1. Pull brain out of nose using a hook 2. Make a cut on the left side of the body near the tummy
